Sunshine Coast Recreation Precinct facilities

We can host a variety of functions and major events including conferences, meetings and sporting tournaments. Bookings can be made for our whole site or a single facility.

We also have a range of equipment available for hire including audio-visual packs and sporting equipment.

Ovals

• 1 full size oval suitable for rugby league, rugby union, touch football, and events
• 1 floodlit smaller oval suitable for training or warm up activities

Swimming pool

• Outdoor, 8 lane, 25 metre swimming pool
• Heated and salt chlorinated
• Floodlit
• Wheelchair accessible
• Change rooms, showers and toilet facilities
• Shaded grandstand for up to 60 people

Regular facility hire is available to sport and recreation organisations. Contact us to enquire.

Eligibility

To hire our facilities, your organisation must:

• have a current Australian Business Number
• hold Public Risk and Property Insurance (Public Liability Insurance)
• request a regular booking over a period of at least 1 month
• have no outstanding debts with the Department of Tourism and Sport or the Office of Fair Trading.

Priority will be given to:

• not-for-profit sport and recreation and disability organisations
• sport and recreation training and competition activities
• organisations with a high number and high frequency of bookings
• bookings with high participant numbers
• bookings requiring long-term usage.

Subsidy

Subsidised pricing is available for:

• Queensland schools
• Queensland not-for-profit sport and recreation organisations
• Queensland not-for-profit community disability organisations.
